开发谷氨酸棒杆菌、黑曲霉、大肠杆菌等工业菌株的合成生物学及系统生物学工具方法,利用多组学技术破译工业环境压力下菌株的代谢和调控机制,揭示菌株生理调控和高产机制,创制利用淀粉糖、甲醇生产氨基酸、有机酸等大宗和精细化学品的高效工业菌株。先后在Nature Communication、Trends in Biotechnology、Metabolic Engineering、ACS Synthetic Biology、Biosensors and Bioelectronics、Biotechnology for Biofuels等国际知名期刊共发表SCI论文60余篇,申请发明专利50余件,获得中国专利授权16件,美日欧等国际专利授权6件。
